East Anglia

These are quality prints from original art work inspired by East Anglian scenes. They range from the Suffolk coast, the rivers and estuaries, marshes and woodlands. The originals for prints are watercolours. I also produce oil paintings which can be seen on request.

Northern England and Scotland

I often explore the Northumberland coast. The original work from which prints are taken ranges from a dramatic sunrise at Alnmouth to the evocative deserted Dunstanburgh Castle. Scotland paintings are based on two areas, Glen Affric, near Inverness and Mellon Udrigle, in Wester Ross.

People and Moments in Time

Observing magic moments in my surroundings in Suffolk are the basis for many of these prints. There is a series of prints taken from paintings of crabbing scenes in the River Deben at Felixstowe Ferry, Suffolk. Other moments in time were captured, turning these secret moments into art.

Yorkshire

My frequent visits north inspire the art work for these prints. Wharfedale, Deepdale and Wensleydale are favourite sites for work, where I watch the changing light sweeping over the Dales.

Trees and Nature

The shapes in nature are the source of much of my painting. Pines, hawthorns, Douglas firs etc all create patterns of light and colour. Many paintings were based on the Suffolk woodlands, and also Yorkshire and Scotland. Flower prints include poppies, irises and nastursiums.

Diverse

Included here are prints based on a series of original paintings developed from the shell-like forms in Gaudi’s Sagrada Famillia, Barcelona, Spain, and studies of a sea urchin shelll.
